Your friends are having a party and will be bringing alcohol. You've decided that you'll either attend, but give them an excuse for not drinking at the party or just not attend. Which method do you consider is the most effective refusal?

If you are trying to avoid alcohol in general you should probably not attend because if you do decide to go you could be subjected to peer pressure and end up doing things that you shouldn't be doing.
