His research will be considered empirical if it is based on observed and measured phenomena and derives knowledge from actual experiences rather than from theories.

A research can be considered empirical only if it contains empirical evidence, which means that a research should be based on several observations, experiments or experiences that a person can obtain either directly or indirectly. With the collected data, researcher must be able to answer empirical questions using the evidence it got while doing personal analysis.
