Answer: C. Climate is warmed as dust increases the greenhouse effect.

The volcanic eruption can be defined as a natural geological event, in which the hot lava, rocks, dust and gases expel out from the earth crust. These materials liberate with great force and rapid explosion. The volcanic eruption occurs due to the development of heat and pressure in the lower mantle of the earth's interior.

The gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide are released in the atmosphere. These hot gases and dust particles are responsible for increasing the temperature, causing warm climatic conditions, which is likely to be responsible for greenhouse effect.
