Use the formula S=P-PD, where S equals the sale price of the item, P equals the original price of the item, and D equals the discount percent of the item

88 = P - P(.20)
88 = P (1 - .20)
88 = P(.8)
Divide Both Sides By .8 To Get P By Itself
110 = P
