There is a lot of value in this story. Ozymandias thought highly of himself, he also thought everyone would remember him. But look at what happened, he's not a great ruler and his statue is laying in the desert. Everyone has forgotten him. This story can teach us not to be prideful, and mostly that the most powerful person is God.
