How did the ending of World War I and the communist revolution in Russia affect American life in the 1920's?

After the cold war, Nuclear threats were not as big as they were leading up to be, the Americans went back to the careless faze they were in until they got "protective" over the bomb threats, but other then that jobs were raised and America went into a whole new industrial stage.
