If tan= 12/5
then cos= 5/13
and sin would = 12/13
Because tan is opposite/ adjacent from theta
cos is adjacent/ hypotenuse
and sin is opposite/ hypotenuse
To find the hypotenuse you have to use
Pythagorean theorem
