Read the text of "The Gymnast" again and write an inference of your own that can be supported by textual evidence.

The Gymnast

by Charles Ghigna

Petite tornado,
she spins
through the air,
lands on the mat,
rolls, springs,
flies away,
leaving in her wake
the thunder
of applause.

I can infer from this poem that the subject is a female gymnast because it says, "She spins through the air, lands on the mat, rolls, springs..." this tells me that she is a gymnast because, in their routines, the do things like rolls and springs, and normally land on a mat at the end.
