A one-quart container of oil costs $2.89. A case of 12 one-quart containers costs $28.56. How much is saved per container by buying the oil by the case? Also if you could include how you got the answer that would be very helpful!!

12 x Container - 0.89c costs $10.68
But it cost $8.64 so you do
$10.68 - $8.64 = $2.04
So $2.04 is saved per case.
