Create two formulas and use substitution.

K = 2c -7 (89)
T = c (48)
Substitute

K + T = 137

2c-7 + C = 137 (Group)
3c-7 = 137 (Add 7 to both sides)
3c = 144 (divide by 3)
C = 48 (Substitute to each individual)

2(48) -7 = 89
