How does dermal tissue help plants on a hot day?

It releases substances so plants can absorb more water from the soil.

It has a waxy material that prevents the loss of water to the environment.

It has guard cells that open to prevent the loss of water to the environment.

It contains chemical substances that allow plants to produce water.

Because it has no seed or have seeds with wax coating that helps prevent water loss.  So it would be the one that says , It has a waxy material that prevents the loss of water to the environment. because that is true.
