Globalization showed that many popular companies or buildings were taking over the economy and expanding their businesses. This effect started downsizing the US economy.

The most salient fact of the globalization of the United States at the end of the nineteenth century and in the period of imperialism is the acceleration of its industrialization. At the time cited, the United States went through an industrial boom, placing itself at the end of the 19th century at the head of the world because of the volume of production of its industry.

Another important aspect on which the United States relied to build its industry was the use of foreign labor. The United States mounted its industry by relying on the human resources of the entire world.
