Why are messages from the media not good sources of information about candidates?

Because the media usually exaggerates the story or leaves out vital information

Because both sides will have bias. Each side will say whatever it takes to get you to join them whether it be true or not. Which is why you have to get your information from an outside source if you want accuracy.
