The greatest common factor (GCF) of the ratio 18:72 is 18 (18/18=1 and 72/18=4), therefore the ratio of 18:72 simplified is 1:4.

The answer is 1:4, you just have to divide both sides of the ratio by the HCF (Highest Common Factor) which is 4 in this case.
