A large, semi-truck hauling a full load and a small car are traveling in the same direction. As they approach a sharp curve in the road, which will have a harder time changing direction and why?

The large semi-truck would have a harder time changing direction because its mass is bigger, so it will need more force to change its direction, and it will also have a harder time slowing down on the sharp curve since it is heavier and will take longer to slow down.

hopefully this helps.

The large truck will have a harder time going around the curve because of its large mass. It will require more force than the little car to come down to the same speed to safely make the turn. f=ma. When a is constant(they both have to come down to the same speed), and m is increased, f is also increased.
