The next step within the pattern would be D. 18 / 3 is 6.

D. 18/3=6 they are switching the numbers while using the same sign the first 2 are using multiplication and the next two will use division. and A. is random so no. B. is wrong when dividing you need to divide the bigger number by the smaller number unless you want to get a decimal or some weird number unless you teacher specifically tells you to divide the smaller by the bigger don't. and c. is also random they are using the same numbers in all 4 patterns 3,6, and 18
