Precipitation, because when water evaporates it then condenses into clouds and releases precipitation(Liquid water) back into the cycle to balance it.

Answer: Precipitation.

Explanation:

If there is an increased rate of evaporation in the water cycle, then there would be more water in the clouds for precipitation.

The rate of evaporation can only be compensated by the rate of precipitation as the amount of the water evaporated and the amount of water falling on earth defines water cycle.

The balance between the evaporation and precipitation is maintained by water cycle.
