How are phenotypes and genotypes alike.

genotype are letters, for example Hh or TT or ss, that are short cuts that define traits for an animal, such as when someone does a p.square, the genotypes (letters) represent the phenotypes, which are the actually physical traits, for example if the genotypes are Hh and H is black then the phenotype would be Black. They both determine traits.
