On the day of February15, I bought an I-Pod from your electronic store, and something was wrong with it.

I am dissatisfied with the quality of your product because it did not perform its correct functions.

To resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it if I could receive a full refund of the purchase price of the aforementioned product or the exchange this product for a working one.

I am waiting to hearing from you and I’m also eager to find a resolution to this problem. I will wait a maximum of three weeks to hear from you, at which time I will seek the help of others. You can contact me by my phone number, email, or mail (listed above).

You should be more specific as to what went wrong with it. Make it a second paragraph by listing the problems with the i-pod.

No "threatening" them with three weeks. It won't help your situation, just make them a little angry that you're not giving them the opportunity to help. With some companies, your letter might have to go through several departments before the right person gets it. If, after a reasonable time, you get no response, then you would get help from some other source. I realize this is a class project, so my explanation as to why you leave some things out is in case this ever comes up in real life.

Dear Mrs. Smith,

I am writing this letter to let you know that we are not satisfied with the clothes that you have sent for my client, who advertises your brand.

My client, an important celebrity, has tried on your clothes. The fabric was ripped in some places and stained. They also were not ironed. In summary, I believe the boxes were damaged and no one did anything to fix it.

This will have serious consequences for our show, as my client now has nothing to wear. I am sending the boxes back and I hope you can fix this problem as soon as possible.
