13 cups. 1/4 can go into the 3 1/4 13 times.

well she needs 13. 1/4 multiplied by 4 equals 1 cup. so 1/4 times 12 would equal 3 cups plus another 1/4 cup would equal 3 1/4 cups of oatmeal
