Write an equation in standard form for a line that passes through (2,2) and (0, -3).

First find the slope:
(-3-2)/(0-2)=-5/-2=5/2

So then y=5/2x+b

When x=0, then the y-coordinate with that is the y-intercept.

So the answer is y=5/2x-3.
