Compare and contrast the identity property of addition to the identity property of multiplication. How are these properties alike? How are they different?

Answer: Multiplicitve you multply the number or variable for algebra by one, nad you still receive the same answerEx1: 1a=a2(1)=2While on the other hand additive identity you add zero to the number or variable and still receive the same answerEx2: 2+0=2a+0=a

For example, 4 x 2 is the same as 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 (two added to itself, four times).
