similar, so the dimentions and thus the area should be in proprotion
bigger one is 4 times of smaller one

96=4 times smaller
divide b 4
24=smaller

smaller=24 square cm

Since the larger trapezoid is 4 times as large as the smaller one, if you divide the area of the larger one by 4, you will get the size of the smaller one. 96/4 = 24. Therefore, the size of the smaller trapezoid is 24 square centimeters.
