the 2 triangles are similar so corresponding sides are in the same ratio

4/5 = 6 +x / 4x- 8
cross multiply;
30 + 5x = 16x - 32
11x = 62x
x = 5.636

AB = 4(5.636) - 8 = 14.545

What is the length of AB
