1/12 gallon per glass of OJ. (1/2 gallon)/ 6 glasses= 1/12 gallon per glass

It would be 1/2 divided by 6.
This is because it says that she has divided the juice "equally" into 6 glasses.Like for instance, if I divided a cookie in two it would be put into two.So then you would have to know that what is being divided is the 1/2 glass of juice. That is how I got that answer.

And, as a bonus, if you solve it, it would be

1/2 / 6/1=(1/2)(1/6)
=1/12
Your welcome :)
