How do I help my child figure this out? What methods should she use? It is 4:02. What time was it 2 hours and 19 minutes ago?

You should tell your child to figure out how much time 2 hours and 19 minutes will be (2:19). What I'd do is take 2:19 and subtract that from 4:02. I'm pretty sure that this is correct. Hope this helps!
