using hookes law, F s p r i n g = k^x , find the force needed to stretch a spring 2 cm if it has an elastic constant of 3 N/cm

Hooke's Law: F = -kx
F=?
x = 2 cm
k = 3 N/cm

F = -kx = -(3
(N)/(cm) ) (2 cm)
F = -6 N
