SUMMARIZING THE POEM is not a step in analyzing lyric poetry.
In order to analyze a poetry, there are some steps that one has to follow, these include: reading through the poetry at least twice, reading the poem aloud, taking note of the punctuation, paraphrasing, etc. Summarizing the poetry is not a needed step when one want to analyze a poetry.
