Some ways the Continental Army faced some difficulties was that they didn't have that many experience and didn't have that many weapons and materials. They also didn't have that many soldiers as the British. But the thing that did help them win was because of having George Washington as a leader and having PATRIONISM. Those who are willing to give their lives for the idea to have a country based on liberty and democracy, which inspired them to do such thing.

it was the middle of winter when they were at valley forge so they had a low supply of meat and clothing, also their were diseases that were to kill some of their men, making their army very weak
