1) find the common denominator(bottom part of fraction) for the fractions inside of the parenthesis.


2) add what is inside of the parenthesis

3) common denominator for the answer inside the parenthesis and -1/3

4) subtract
(MOST IMPRTANT!!!!!!!: only add numerator or the top numbers)
