100% - 35% = 65%

65% of $12.00 = 0.65 x 12.00 = $7.80

first, we need to find out the 35% of 12.

to find it, we need to change 35% to the decimal, which is 0.35.

then, divide 12 by 0.35.

12÷0.35 is 4.2, and 4.2 is 35% of $12.00.

it says they're selling their pizza 35% CHEAPER, so it means that we need to take out the 35% of 12.00. we already found out the 35% of 12.00 which is 4.2

so 12.00 - 4.2 =7.80

the answer is $7.80
