binucleated cells are found when onion root tips are examined under a microscope. What does binucleated mean? which part of the cell cycle is interrupted to cause this result?

Here, Binuclear means two nucleus in the same cell , and it occurs when the nucleus divides but the cytoplasm doesn't.

Here, "Cytokinesis" is that step which is interrupted in the cell cycle

binuclear means two nucleus in one cell , and this happens when the nucleus divides but the cytoplasm does not divide !

so in cytokinesis the division stops !
