If you need help, just follow PEMDAS.
First you do the parenthesis, which is 8 + 11m. Then there is a little PEMDAS equation inside the parenthesis. There's no parenthesis inside the parenthesis, no exponents or multiplication and division either. So you add.
Once you finish adding, you see that there is -17 outside the parenthesis. It was right next to the parenthesis, which meant to multiply. Multiply the sum of the recent addition problem with -17.
