The different phases or stages that occur during interphase are G1 phase, G2 phase and S phase.

Interphase is the phase of the cell cycle in which the cell prepares itself for mitosis or meiosis. The different phases of the interphase are G1 phase, G2 phase and S phase. The G1 and G2 (Gap) phases are the period of growth and preparation for significant changes while the S (synthesis) phase is the period in which the DNA in the entire genome of the cell is replicated by the cell.
