I don't believe so i'm pretty sure you just go before the judge and will be charged a fine plus additional bills if you lose before the judge. So I would say false.

Answer:

It's true

Step-by-step explanation:

If you do not have insurance coverage and are involved in an accident where you are at fault, your driver's license and/or license plates will be suspended for up to three years. They will also have to pay a restitution fee and have to show the Department a certified proof of insurance for three years from the original date of the suspension to recover their driving privilege.
