Paul says that once a person is baptized and accepts Christ as his lord and savior, all status distinctions become obsolete. When he says this, he is referring primarily to slaves, gentiles, and Jews, because once they are baptized, they will be saved. There will be no masters or kings anymore, they will all be equal.
