If the area of a floor is 6 and the legnth is x and the width is x+1 then find the legnth and width

6=(x)(x+1)
6=x^2+x
0=x^2+x-6,
0=(x-3)(x+2)
Length=3
Width=4

if x=2
length=2
width=2+1
=3

length × width = area
2×3=6

the answer for length is 2 ,while for the width is 3
