Chaz is a college student. He has a checking account balance of -$52.00. His roomate Wills checking account balance is -$59.25. Chaz thinks that Will owes more to the bank than Chaz does. Is Chaz correct?

Okay, so if Chaz has a balance of -52.00, and Willis has a balance of -59.25, this means that Willis is further into debt. Chaz would be correct to say that Willis owes more money to the bank. The further into the negatives your bank account is, the more money you owe. Willis owes the bank 7.25 more than Chaz owes.
