Andrew Jackson, an anti-bank candidate got elected. Jackson declared in 1832 that the United States is no long be using the Second National bank. The pro-bank congressmen renew a bill for the bank's charter. However, Jackson used his veto power to remove all the federal funds from the bank. These events was called the "Bank War."
