Higher populated city's are more likely to use public buses to avoid traffic. Also, poorer communities could also use public buses because they cannot afford any other means of transportation.

Atlanta.. New York.. La... because its more expensive to have a car in these places. The buses also travel just about everywhere in the cities! No need to waste money on gas.
