Why did it take so long for working class people to fight for improved conditions

The answer would be D

Because they had no power to be heard and if they said anything or tried to protest they would be fired and then people who could not find a job would be hired so they just dealt with the hard work and low pay.

Workers had no voice. They couldn't convey their voices very well.
