what would happen if Avery had added an enzyme that digested all the nucleic acids in the mixture of heat-killed bacteria, added mixture to harmless bacteria, and injected the mixture into the mice?

then the mice would not be infected as the DNA is destroyed by the enzyme ....so S type have no use and can't transfer it's DNA ....so mice survive !
