The experiences between the two were similar because the urban unemployed could not find any places to work as the farmers could no longer work because of the drought. They couldn't grow crops to get money so they had no food, as the urban folks couldn't get money for food. The difference is that the urban could not escape their depression, because it was all over the country. The rural folks could because they could of just moved their farm to an area without any drought
