How are the molecules moving in a cold glass of water compared to in a warm glass of water

Hello there! Think of the kinetics of molecules. For example, when water particles freeze, they essentially stop moving and therefore become solid. But when water is heated, vapor escapes as gas, and you can picture the molecules as shooting out and moving fast. Based from this, molecules moving a cold glass will be moving SLOWER than the water in a warm glass.

Hope this helps! ^_^
