IF IT IS THE EQUATION OF A LINE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:
y=mx+c
7-1÷5-3=6÷2=3
y=3x+c (here we substitute in one of the points to find out what C is)
1=(3×3)+c
1=9+c
-8=c

so the equation is: y=3x-8

Passes through (5,7) and(3,1)
