Teresa :
(0.5,12)(1.5,36)
slope = (36 - 12) / (1.5 - 0.5) = 24/1 = 24 miles per hr

Elaine :
(2.5,70)(3,84)
slope = (84 - 70) / (3 - 2.5) = 14 / 0.5 = 28 miles per hr

Elaine reads at a faster rate
