standard form is ax+by=c wher a and b and c ar integers

another
y-y1=m(x-x1)
that is the equation of a line that has a slope of m and passes through (x1,y1)

find slope

slope between the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(-3,5) and (-2,-6)
slope=(-6-5)/(-2-(-3))=(-11)/(-2+3)=-11/1=-11

a point is (-2,-6)
y+6=-11(x+2)
distribute
y+6=-11x-22
add 11x both sides
11x+y+6=-22
minus 6 both sides
11x+y=-28
