We know that a straight line has 180 degrees, and since the 70 degrees and 60 degrees are already on that straight line, we can do this:

180^\circ = x+70^\circ+60^\circ

50^\circ=x

x+60 + 70 = 180 (straight line)
x+130=180
x= 180 -130
x=50
