Glaciers would start to melt, and thus the water level would rise. If this happens, the water will start covering the land on the Earth, which means there will be less land to live in.

Well, if earth's climate is getting warmer then the glaciers would probably start to melt. I'm not sure how to answer the second one either, maybe since glaciers are so big, they would be a lot of animals living on them and they would loose their habitat maybe causing them to have to move somewhere else?
