The Iindian system of vocal music interfaced with the arab iranian and central asian traditions predates the three cultures. It was mostly court music basing on the seven notes (the famous Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, and Do). A fusion had happened because the Indian mythological subjects like the Rama, and Krishna are evident.
